Arsenal Women's FAQ

Similar to the men, Arsenal Women compete in two FA run cup competitions in addition to the league and pending qualification, UEFA Champions League.  Teams involved in the Champions League get a bye in the League Cup until knockout rounds in the new year. WSL teams enter the FA Cup in the fourth round, typically in January.

Due to shared stadiums and other reasons, the women’s schedule is typically finalized much later than the men’s schedule for TV purposes (typically ~3-4 weeks before a match week). The default placeholder time is usually Sunday at 2pm with the main broadcast times typically Sunday at 12:30PM and Sunday 6:45PM (UK times), occasionally and unpredictably a Saturday afternoon or Friday night kick off.

You do not need any type of paid membership with the club or us to access Arsenal Women’s tickets. You may need a member ID login with Arsenal, which is available via free registration. Emirates tickets are sold via the Arsenal website until a match is sold out (historically about the week leading up to a game). You can access tickets in seat map format and toggle on the ticket exchange to access season ticket holder tickets that are available officially through the club (lower level tickets typically a couple of weeks out from a match). The pre match pub for Emirates games is typically The Coronet. Pubs are typically not open as early for womens match days as they are for mens match days as they are restricted in how many days per year they can open outside of normal business hours and utilize those for men’s matches.

Games at Meadow Park (3 league games, plus Cup games for now) typically sell out within 5 to 10 minutes of on sale. They are sold through Borehamwood’s ticketing site via a link from the Arsenal site. If you are interested in one of those games, please pay attention to on sale times and set your alarm accordingly! The pre match pub for Meadow Park games is The Good Companion.

Getting to Meadow Park: Closest train station is Elstree & Borehamwood (within the contactless/ Oyster payment zone) which runs regularly (2-4x per hour) from St. Pancras station in London (adjacent to Kings Cross). In the event the train isn’t running, you can alternatively catch the tube to High Barnet, Edgware or Stanmore followed by a bus or uber/ taxi.

Away tickets vary by stadium and information can typically be found on the fixture page on Arsenal.com. The club generally does a good job of securing an allocation with season ticket holders and women’s supporters club members getting first dibs before general sale. These tickets always make it to general sale and there is not currently a points scheme in place like the men’s side. Allocation size typically varies by ground. Follow the Arsenal Womens Supports Club in the UK for pre match meet up locations for away games.

The FA Player has been sunset following the 23-24 season and the new ownership of the league. YouTube will be the primary streaming platform for games not selected for UK broadcast (Barclays WSL channel). ESPN+ has acquired the rights to mirror UK broadcasts for league matches. We aim to always pass this information along on Twitter and in the Facebook group.
